The 42nd Season of the Ghent Playhouse begins with THE 39 STEPS.  Adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow, this fast paced melodrama is based on the novel by John Buchan and the 1935 movie by Alfred Hitchcock.  This production is being directed by Deena Pewtherer. The 39 Steps opens on Friday, October 7 and runs through Sunday, October 23 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.
