Ethel Savage has been left ten million dollars by her husband, and she wants to make the best use of it, despite the efforts of her grown-up stepchildren to get their hands on it.  Hoping to “bring her to her senses,” they commit Mrs. Savage to a sanitarium.  There she meets various social misfits, who need the kind of help she can provide.  This warm comedy will leave one with the hope that the neglected virtues of kindness and affection have not been entirely lost in a world that sometimes seems motivated only by greed and dishonesty.
